Sam Shulver

Senior Engineer

Sam Shulver graduated from Nottingham University with a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2014 and was immediately employed by Hoare Lea as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer.

Since joining Skelly & Couch in 2015, Sam has contributed to several developments, most notably a trio of projects at Covent Garden, including a contemporary renovation of the renowned Opera Terrace, comprising a restaurant at the top of the Grade II*-listed Market Building. He contributed to a feasibility study for a masterplan relating to the entire market, as well as the full- design Covent Garden South Wells area project.

Sam is also presently working on a state-of-the-art Science and Sports centre for Brighton College, following the successful delivery of a new Music School and Theatre at the College; and an exciting new residential tower of 208 apartments proposed by developers HUB, close to the new Crossrail terminus in Abbey Wood, Greenwich.

In addition, Sam is working on a leading-edge new science and technology block for Cranleigh Preparatory School in Surrey, which will double as a cricket pavilion. The building will have no corridors, with direct access to the outside for every classroom to allow for natural ventilation and daylight.
