Natasha Jackson

Principal Engineer

Natasha received a MEng (Hons) in Architecture & Environmental Design from the University of Nottingham in 2008, a specialised degree which included additional areas of study in structures, building services and environmental design.

During her degree programme she focused her final-year integrated design project on evaporative cooling technologies, for which she was awarded a commendation by the University.

After graduating, Natasha completed her RIBA Part 1 qualification working as an Architectural Assistant. During this time she worked on the conversion of a redundant agricultural building into five low-energy dwellings in Hertford, designed to Passivhaus standard. Following this, Natasha worked as a Graduate engineer with Morgan Sindall, working on projects including London Underground’s Cooling the Tube programme, as well as a number of Gatwick Airport upgrade projects.

Since joining Skelly & Couch in 2011, Natasha has worked on a range of projects including Bishop’s Palace House, Kingston Riverside, the transformation of an outdated 1970s structure into an exciting leisure and retail destination; the refurbishment of a 19th century warehouse building in London’s Covent Garden into rehearsal, education and office spaces for the Donmar Warehouse Theatre, winner of a 2015 RIBA London Award; and the refurbishment of a luxury penthouse for Candy & Candy developers in Knightsbridge. Natasha is currently working on a new junior school for Highgate School following Passivhaus principles and An Almshouse Fit for the 21st Century, a progressive new social model providing 54 homes for the elderly in Southwark.
